ABOUT THIS STORY
During the second seven years of her life, Elizabeth Sette and her siblings performed great acts.
It Came To Pass is a self‑contained account of one of those acts — not a battle fought with force, but a victory won through compassion, discernment, and obedience.
After a late night of crime prevention in Charleston, South Carolina, Elizabeth and the Dragons board a city bus simply trying to get home. The following day, as the Sette family prepares to dedicate a new library wing in honor of Elizabeth’s deceased mother, Samantha, Elizabeth once again boards a city bus — unaware that this second journey has been carefully set into motion.
On that ride, seven strangers from vastly different walks of life board the bus, each carrying hidden pain, unresolved conflict, and unanswered questions. As the trip unfolds, Elizabeth is led to speak God’s truth through story, parable, and quiet insight — not only to those seated around her, but to others listening beyond what she can see.
It Came To Pass explores the power of kindness, the danger of hardened hearts, and the way God uses ordinary moments to bring healing, reconciliation, and hope. It is a reminder that some of the most important victories are not fought in public, not celebrated, and not even recognized as battles at the time.
Story Focus

- Elizabeth’s gift expressed through empathy and discernment rather than combat
- Interwoven parables reflecting real‑world struggles
- Themes of identity, grief, forgiveness, reconciliation, and grace
- A quieter but essential “Act” of the Dragons
WHY THIS BOOK EXISTS
Why It Came To Pass Matters
It Came To Pass exists to answer a question that action‑driven stories often leave unanswered:
What does it look like when God moves, and no one is forced to notice?
In the Acts of the Dragons, readers see courage, sacrifice, and confrontation with darkness. But this story was written to show something quieter — and just as powerful. It reveals that not every battle involves an enemy, and not every victory leaves visible scars.
This book exists to show Elizabeth Sette outside of crisis.
Here, she is not stopping a Syndicate operation.
She is not facing down supernatural evil.
She is not being watched by ACTS or the world.
Instead, she is listening.
The night before prepares her.
The next day calls her forward.
On that second bus ride, Elizabeth does not act on impulse or emotion. She steps into a moment that was already prepared — speaking truth, love, and clarity into lives shaped by grief, anger, confusion, and shame. Some hear her directly. Others hear her through circumstances they don’t yet understand. And still more are affected without ever knowing why.
This book also exists to anchor the series.
As the universe grows darker — as the Syndicate’s reach expands, as moral complexity increases, and as characters like Jade Yu reveal the cost of being raised without light — It Came To Pass reminds the reader what the story is ultimately about.
Not power.
Not control.
Not victory at any cost.
But love.
Choice.
And obedience in small moments that ripple outward.
It Came To Pass stands as proof that the most important Acts of the Dragons are sometimes the ones that never make the news — but change lives forever.
