Raised in the shadows and trained by the Teacher, Jade became something precise, disciplined, and dangerous: a Syndicate assassin known as the Twice‑Named Jewel of Japan.

The Twice Named Jewel is a character‑driven exploration of how Jade Yu became who she is, told through a shifting timeline that moves between her present missions and the fractured moments of her past. As the story unfolds, readers witness her transformation from a child shaped by loss into a weapon shaped by design—while glimpses of conscience, loyalty, and doubt threaten to fracture the role she was trained to play.

This story exists in deliberate contrast to Elizabeth’s path. Where Elizabeth is protected, chosen, and guided toward the light, Jade is forged by violence and manipulation—her life altered by the same forces Elizabeth is destined to confront. Their stories intersect indirectly through Syndicate operations, the rise of the Dragons, and revelations that echo through The Robbie Petersen Exchange and Dragon Breath.

While Jade is the heart of this book, familiar figures move through its orbit. Jaxon appears not as a centerpiece, but as part of the larger machinery that shaped Jade’s world. The Agents of ACTS, Cali (L5X5), the Confederation, and Pslyte surface through intelligence exchanges, covert operations, and the quiet wars fought behind the scenes—wars that will define the Zero to Ten era.
