Have you ever been absolutely certain about something, only to discover later that you didn’t have the whole story?

Life has a way of doing that.

We experience pain, loss, disappointment, betrayal, and hardship. Over time, we begin to build explanations around those experiences. We tell ourselves stories about why things happened, who was responsible, and what can never be fixed.

Sometimes those stories are true.

That’s part of what inspired Sarah’s Song.

Without giving away any details from It Came To Pass, this piece reflects a journey from hurt to healing, from anger to understanding, and from isolation to restoration.

One of the most difficult things a person can do is allow their heart to remain open when life has given them every reason to close it.

Yet some of the greatest moments of healing begin when we discover that there is more to the story than we realized.

Sometimes the truth does not increase our pain.

Sometimes it sets us free.

Sarah’s Song is one of the original music tracks featured in the audiobook soundtrack of It Came To Pass.

While created to support the atmosphere of the story, the music is also intended to stand on its own as a listening experience inspired by the themes, characters, and adventures found throughout the E7 Universe.

Many people carry wounds that others cannot see.

Sometimes those wounds come from loss.

Sometimes they come from disappointment.

Sometimes they come from believing a story that has been weighing on us for far too long.

But God sees the entire picture, even when we only see a small piece of it.

If you are carrying hurt today, don’t let it define your future.

If you are carrying anger today, don’t let it become your identity.

And if you feel as though something has been taken from your life, remember this:

What the enemy seeks to destroy, God can restore.

Trust Him with your story.

You may not know the whole story yet.

But God does.

And His plan is greater than you can imagine.
