New Single — Releasing Today

There’s a moment at the beginning of this song where a simple statement is made:

“I think you can save me.”

It repeats.

Almost like a question searching for confirmation.

And then the answer arrives:

You’re Right About That.

Because He can.

Jesus saves.

That exchange became the heart of this entire song.

Releasing From Music City

As it happens, this single is releasing while I’m in Nashville, Tennessee, speaking at the APC Conference about SharePoint and AI Prompting.

Nashville has built its identity around music, songwriters, and the stories songs are able to tell. It felt fitting that a song built around a question and an answer, about being saved and being understood, would release while I’m in a city that understands the power of music better than almost anywhere else.

Behind the Music

You’re Right About That is an uptempo, pop-style track built around that question and answer. Musically, it leans into another MJ-inspired beat and bass-line, paired with vocals that carry a message about just how pure God’s love really is, and how that love is something we can actually feel.

You’re right about that.

If the beat makes you dance, that’s good.

Because underneath the rhythm is a simple truth:

We all need someone who understands us.

Someone who sees us.

Someone who isn’t waiting for us to clean ourselves up before loving us.

God understands you.

He loves you.

He sent His Son to die for you and me, so that we could be saved.
