He Doesn’t Always Take You Out of the Fight
Most of us want God to take the struggle away.
Sometimes He does. But more often, He does something we don’t expect. He walks into it with us.
Anyone who has been through a hard season knows the feeling. The attack comes, and it seems bigger than you. The odds say you can’t win. The people around you say it’s impossible, and part of you agrees.
Yet somehow you’re still standing at the end.
You may not understand how. The pain was real and the weight was heavy. But something carried you through, and you came out the other side different. You came out stronger.
That is the heart of my next release, “Stronger.” It isn’t about avoiding the battle, and it isn’t about pretending the pain wasn’t there. It’s about the truth that strength is often built inside the struggle, and that we’re never in it alone.
I believe God does this all the time. He may not remove you from the struggle, but He is with you in it. He takes away the power of what was meant to destroy you. Then, somewhere along the way, you realize you didn’t just survive. You grew.
It also helps to know that belief can be contagious. One person who keeps trusting when everyone says it’s impossible can change what the people around them are willing to try. And when people finally get on the same page, they find they are stronger together than they ever were alone.
“Stronger” is part of a larger story from the E7 Universe, and the song releases November 9 along with a short animated film. I’ll share more about it between now and then.
If you’re in the middle of a struggle right now, hear this: you are not alone in it, and this is not the end of the story.
God sees you. He is with you. And you may be stronger than you know.
What got you through your hardest season? I’d love to hear it in the comments.
