We can know someone’s name, recognize a face, remember a story, or collect facts about a person and still realize that we do not truly know them.
That difference between information and relationship is one of the ideas behind my next release, “Know You.”
The song moves quickly. It is energetic, exciting, and built to keep moving forward. But beneath that energy is a deeper longing: the desire for connection and the invitation into a deeper relationship.
Sometimes distance is obvious. Other times, it hides behind familiarity. We may believe we know someone because we see that person often or know many details. Yet truly knowing someone requires more than recognition. It requires relationship.
That idea also matters within the larger E7 Universe. The books, music, and stories may take different forms, but many of them return to questions of faith, truth, connection, hope, and whether people are willing to move beyond the surface.
“Know You” releases Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
When you hear it, I hope the energy catches your attention. But I also hope the question underneath stays with you:
Do we really know someone, or do we only know about them?
